We are passionate about designing and making elegant and unusual contemporary furniture and selling it directly to you, the customer

Lloyd Stacey

Lloydesign are designers and makers of fine furniture and accessories. With a background in design and furniture making, owner Lloyd Stacey specialises in unusual, distinctive pieces with a contemporary and modern design bias.

The initial inspiration for designer Lloyd Stacey is the moulded ply form work of Charles and Ray Eames but more directly the delicate and refined Butterfly stool of Sori Yanagi. A Japanese aesthetic in particular has to some extent defined his work.

His workshop is at The Ruskin Glass Centre, a heritage site and a craft centre for primarily glass artists but also other craftsman.

Lloyd has had an eclectic career, including  working as a graphic designer and furniture maker before establishing Lloydesign in 2009.

Lloydesign furniture is particularly relevant to architects and interior designers who are looking for something a little out of the ordinary.

Bespoke commissions are available. Lloyd is able to work closely with customers to achieve a relevant and appropriate solution to their needs keeping within budgetary requirements and time restraints.

Please feel free to visit Lloyd at his workshop and showroom at the Ruskin Glass Centre for an informal and non-obligation discussion.
